Filter Stages and What Each Does
- Sediment filter — captures coarse particles such as sand, rust and silt, protecting the filters downstream.
- GAC carbon — removes chlorine and chlorine by-products along with taste and odour compounds.
- Granular carbon — completes the removal of organic compounds.
- RO membrane — separates dissolved contaminants including heavy metals, nitrate, bacteria and viruses.
- Post carbon — final taste and odour polishing after storage.
- ALK+ alkaline — re-introduces calcium, magnesium and potassium.
- Vitamin B12 — final enrichment stage.
After this chain the water passes through the electrolysis cell, where it separates into alkaline and acidic fractions; the alkaline fraction you drink acquires its negative ORP here.
